Dana Hodgins, M.S., S-LP (C)
About
Dana Hodgins, M.S., S-LP(C) has been working as a speech-language pathologist since 2004. She completed her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota. Prior to moving to Nova Scotia in 2008, Dana worked as a speech-language pathologist in Alberta. Dana is registered as a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) and the Nova Scotia College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists (NSCASLP).
Dana has enjoyed working with a wide variety of clients in multiple settings and has had the opportunity to work with individuals aged 1 to 90+ years. This broad base of training and experience has allowed Dana to confidently and comfortably provide professional services to clients of all ages. With an interest in early speech, language and literacy development, Dana has certifications in three Hanen programs – It Takes Two to Talk, Learning Language & Loving It, and More Than Words program, as well as certification in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
When not working, Dana enjoys spending time in her gardens and exploring the Nova Scotia trails with her husband and daughter.
